Tickboxes for "Move also when hidden/read-only"

Post by *weaker »

Hi all,

I started moving a huge number of files and knew that it would take hours. When I checked after a while, TC had only a few percent finished and waited on a prompt for user input whether I want to move files that are hidden. A while later the same prompt appeared when the first read-only file was found.

Now my suggestion: Make checkboxes for these cases available where TC would wait for user input. That way I could have decided beforehand that I want to have all files moved regardless of their attribute.

It would be especially helpful for the transfer list (perhaps enabling these checkboxes individually for each line in the transfer list but with a "select all" option).

What do you think? Wouldn't that be useful?

Cheers

Hello weaker,
You mean the checkbox that's already there?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Yes, more or less:
I obviously overlooked the checkbox as it is not visible by default  (I changed this now).
But after having started the operation there is still no choice to set this checkbox for those elements in the list that are below the one currently in action. Or is there and I am totally blind?

weaker,
Not sure what you mean. You set this setting for each operation when you press F6.

Yes, but I'm unable to change this setting afterwards for items in the list that are not started yet (which would be handy sometimes).
