[SOLVED] [TC 8.01 x32] Drive Letters Links Uppercase

Post by *Hansl »

(Internal) Links in TC now seem to return the path to the double-clicked file with a lowercase drive letter. I think it was previously (7.56) uppercase.

Strg-P still copies the path with an uppercase drive letter to the command line, whereas the window title and the drive buttons show lowercase.

On case sensitive file systems this now causes errors — I think drive letters in paths should keep to the traditional uppercase. (Running TC in Wine/Linux). For all I care, the drive buttons can be lowercase for modern looks.

Hello, Hansl.

Please, look up these wincmd.ini parameters in the T.C. helpfile:
DrivesExportUpcase=1
DrivesShowUpcase=1

Setting them will have the desired effect.

Kind regards,
Karl

Oh, wow, exactly what I needed! Hadn't found it.
Another example of great forethought and why I love TC.
Thank you, Karl!

Best regards, Hans

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
