Slow network drive directory listing/refresh

Hi,
When I open a VPN connected share - directory listing is very slow compare to the same folder opened in Win7 explorer.
When I open a file or scroll the window I see when each file name gets updated, TC gets frozen updating the listing so finaly I have to wait (about 5-7 secs) switch to C and open files from the explorer.
TC 8.01, brief directory listing, share name format \\ip_adress\sherename

Try turning off icons on network drives in Configuration - Options - Display.
