Copy with queue and adding a wait statement between 2 jobs

If I copy large files (>5GB) over network to a network share I noticed that if I have a large number of files there can be some connection issues which freezes/halts the copy jobs. If I run it all manually there is no issue. Would it be possible (or if there are some similar functionality) to add a wait statement (delay timer) between copy jobs and set in seconds/milli-seconds? This would be a nice feature
