[SOLVED] TC 8.01 x64 doesn't save Folders on exit

Post by *SuchtFaktor »

My TC 8.01 x64 doesn't save the folders on exit I am using.
Under settings I activated to save folders.
But it doesn't.
TC always starts with c:

I copied the settings from my older versions which ran under x86.
Does anybody know why TC doesn't behave like expected?

Is your wincmd.ini placed somewhere you can write to? Check it in menu Help > About Total Commander.

Good hint and solved in an instant.

I generated a mobile Version of TC because I don't use it only on one System.
I copied this mobile Version to c:\program files instead of installing it.
Because I didn't install it the folder was missing the correct access rights.
I corrected this and voìla works like a charm.

thx for the right push.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
