My suggestion is that TC adjusts the disk operation priority, or in other ways limits itself, when it is moving/copying big files, so that other programs can run relatively smoothly in the meantime. As it is now, it is practically impossible to use any other program while TC is moving or copying big files from one HDD partition to another, on the same physical HDD. I am using TC v. 8.01 32-bit on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit on an ASUS K53E laptop.
