[6.54] Wrong display of UTF8 data?

Post by *yetanotherlogin »

Hello

I'm having an issue to read East European accented characters through the internal file lister (ie. hitting F3) from a text file encoded in UTF8:

Here's a screenshot using the default "Text Only" and "UTF-8".

Is this to be expected and should I upgrade to the latest TC?

Thank you.

You should always upgrade to the latest TC.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

The default System Fixed Font in Windows is missing these characters. Try to use a different fixed font, e.g. Courier New.
