Default Lister-mode first before use of plugins?

Is it possible to have Lister always start in the default mode first (binary-view: as if there are no plugins installed) even when there are plugins installed?

(pressing 4 would then load the 'first' matching plugin)

Or you can configure the Lister's defaults in:
Menu-> Confirguration-> Options...-> Edit/View-> Configure internal viewer...
Notice the "Dispaly at startup" and "Multimedia display" sections
