Internal zip unpacker not unpacking subdirectories.

Post by *K@ »

TC x64 v8.01

All was well and I haven't done anything, to my knowledge, that could've changed it.

However, when I unpack zip archives, the directory structure is not being maintained.

All the files are being extracted, but the files in subdirectories are all being put it the root.

I've configured TC so that I can unpack using "unzip", using a button. But, when I delve into the archive and want unpack from the lister, it's doing the weird thing, described above. :(

Please, can someone put me out of my misery?

There is an option 'Unpack path names if stored with files' in TC unpack dialog...

Well, that was the first thing I looked for. But, I must be either going blind, or mad.

In Configuration>Options, under both the "Packer" and "Zip packer" sections, I can't see it.

It is a case by case option in the unpack dialogue.

Oh, heck...

You know, I've been using TC for years and years. How on Earth did I miss that?!?!?!

Gentlemen, I thank you and I'll be slapping myself around for a LONG time, for missing that!

Again, Thankyou! :)
