Firefox web folder & files deleted together

If I save a web page in Firefox (complete) it saves a folder and a file.

In this forum it saves:

"Total Commander Post a new topic.htm"
"Total Commander Post a new topic_files"

The bug in TC 8.01 32 bit under Win8 is that when I delete either of them, it removes both.

"Use Explorer delete method" is checked if that matters.

This is not a bug in TC but a feature of Windows. It presumes that none of them is useful after the other one is deleted/moved. It's not a new behavior and it has been in Windows for a very long time.

Thanks. I see - and it can be worked around by Shift Deleting the files.

What bizarre behaviour when you haven't seen it before.

As described in the linked thread, you can disable the "feature" if you don't like it.
