hi,
not a big thing, but userfull.
I have many drive (cause many partition and multiple harddrive), so some time, i'm lost to find my one i need.
i discover TC does not show any tooltips on drive butons, so it could show the drive name, free space into it ! then i will not oblige to click on it to know this information.
have a good day

add missing tooltips information on drive button !
i'm an old long user of TC since the windows 3.11 release !, for the history, i came to tc when i migrate from amiga commodore to PC where they are diskmanager and directory opus there.
You can add section [DriveHints] to your wincmd.ini and specify a tooltip for each drive letter. Read TOTALCMD.CHM section 4.b for details.
Don't forget that you can hide some drives from drive bar if you don't use them frequently (they will still be available in drive combobox on Alt+F1/F2) using DriveBarHide option of wincmd.ini. This will make locating of the most useful drives easier.
Also you can create handmade drive list using buttonbar buttons or drop-down bars (with different icons and hints) or directory hotlist (with keyboard shortcuts) in order to simplify navigation between your drives.

Maybe hints are disabled in Configuration - Options - Display - Help texts? There is an option "Show volume labels/network paths for drives".
