How to access drives plugged into a modem?

Post by *louwin »

I apologise if this question has been asked and answered. I did a search but nothing came up :(

I have a TP-Link Dual Band modem with 2 USB2.0 ports. I have a portable external in USB1 and a powered external in USB2. The User Manual says they can be accessed with "Run" then \\192.168.1.1\volume(sda1) or \\192.168.1.1\volume(sdb1). They can :)

If I key \\192.168.1.1\volume(sdb1) into TC's command line it pops up a WE screen. Is there a way to access these drives from TC?

I can access the NAS plugged into the modem from TC but not (as far as I can see) the external HDDs on the modem.

I apologise if this is beyond the scope of this forum :)

Also direct \\192.168.1.1\volume(sdb1) may be written into path bar (above file panel), you need just a click onto its free space to make it editable.
