Lister, different font display, WinXP vs. Win8

Post by *AmpliDude »

I was wondering why the font does not look the same in both systems:

Sorry I'm new and can't post valid links, I had to save links to text file:

Code: Select all

MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="image_links.txt"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="image_links.txt"

V2luWFA6IGh0dHA6Ly9pbWFnZXNoYWNrLnVzL2EvaW1nMTUzLzI4MDcvbnQucG5nDQpXaW44OiBo
dHRwOi8vaW1hZ2VzaGFjay51cy9hL2ltZzgyOS8zNzY1L3Z0Ni5wbmc=

It's the same file and the settings of TC/Lister are default. I prefer the XP style (unprintable chars as black squares), but i don't know how to achieve that on Win8. Does anyone have any idea?

You can simply post links in code block or w/o http://www prefix instead. :)

Anyway it depends only on a chosen font. Which font you're using? BTW if I open mentioned font file in font viewer, I see English letters and numbers in Fixedsys and other characters in another font.
