Avoid quotation marks when copying path to command line?

Post by *jonathanL »

Hi,

I wonder if there's any way to avoid the quotation marks when copying the full path to the command line (ctrl+shift+enter) ?

even better - is there a way to change them (i.e I would want to use ' or * instead of ").

thanks

Never had problem with this.
If a path contains spaces the "" are necessary.
Using * is nonsense, this is a wild card character.
So what is your real problem ?

Use menu option Mark/Copy Names With Path To Clipboard?

That's right, but i actually end up copying the full path, so that might work, if I set up a shortcut to Mark>Copy full path.

And it is pretty easy: Configuration - Misc. - Redefine hotkeys, command cm_CopyFullNamesToClip.
