Synchronised browsing

Post by *TLis »

I have two similar trees of folders, e.g. C:\TFS\Branch1 and C:\TFS\Branch2.

I am putting the first branch in the left panel and the second in the right panel. Then I would like to have the possibility of doing a synchronised browsing through folders. Example:

1. On the left panel I step into a subfolder C:\TFS\Branch1\Code. The right pane automatically steps into C:\TFS\Branch2\Code (if a subfolder Code can be found).
2. On the left panel I step into a further subfolder C:\TFS\Branch1\Code\MainApplication. The right pane automatically goes into C:\TFS\Branch2\Code\MainApplication (again, provided that a given subfolder can be found.
3. On the left panel I go up using a double click on the '..' item. The right panel automatically goes to the parent folder - we are in the Code folders again in both trees.
4. Etc. Whenever I am going into a subfolder or to the parent folder, the other panel tries to do the same move (if possible).

Is it already possible? If not, I would love to see such a feature in TC :)

Create a button (or assign to a hotkey) with the command:
cm_SyncChangeDir

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
