chmod by Upload/copy/move/sync - FTP

Hi,

Chmod by upload on an ftp..
Webfolders/zips and other tools who need to be 777
on the Webserver by provider or something else ,

Set [______] Chmod on FTP by Upload for all files

On Upload/Copy/move/sync Dialog before Action for setting
all files up for properly working on Webserver

The server sets the access flags automatically on upload.
If the server is your own, just change the default settings át the server.

Note: To perform a chmod after upload, the server must support the chmod command via FTP (just via SSH is not enough)
Try to enter at command line while connected:

Code: Select all

SITE CHMOD 777 test

If you get an "500 'SITE CHMOD 777 test': command not understood." it is not supported

With HELP SITE the server lists all supprted commands.

Hi Sega_wizard

i know, by chmod 777 -R * but.. the probem it is
any folder setting any files chmod 777 it's a hard work for any folder..

and therefor mabybe behind upload for any file setting up chmod
777, also if it need longer time, or if an folder uploaded step by step,
for setting all files beheind on 777 or what the Admin/user of the tc
want..
and for this, by upload an file for setting behind dirtectly 777..

in kde (konqueror in filemode) works well to chmod the
subfolder an files to 777 but in TC i can't only
chmod one folder where i be, like i know.. ehh testet out,
therefore the suggestion, it shold be possible to make by upload an
directly chmod or an possible for folder and subfolder setting up 777 like it is possible on local file system
