[Implemented] Extra command for opening duplicate files dialog

Post by *petermad »

The new "Select duplicate files" dialog is opened by pressing Num+ when a duplicate files search has been fed to listbox.

It turns out that the dialog can also be opened by the command cm_SelectFiles - but this is not the command that is used by default when pressing Num+ - so it is not intuitive.

This means that on a keyboard without a Num+ key it is not possible to open the dialog, not even by using the menu, unless you know about the cm_SelectFiles command which is not part of the standard TC menu. And I think that many users don't know about cm_SelectFiles.

Therefore I suggest that also the command cm_SpreadSelection which usually correspond to Num+ should open this new dialog.

Agree, cm_SpreadSelection should open that dialog too.

BTW Num + was the first thing I tried, and cm_SelectFiles was the second one, and both work. But I have normal PC with standard-layout keyboard.
