Hi,
When I edit any file on the FTP it's saving edited file on my PC. I did't change anything in settings.

Actually this is supported now in TC 8.5 beta! If you save a file, TC will automatically re-upload it to the server when it detects the change. You will be asked the first time you edit a file whether you want to enable this or not.

TC versions previous to the current beta re-upload the file when it is changed and you close the editor.

Maybe your editor never really closes (continues to run in the background in hidden form)?

When I'm closing editor, the Windows is asking:
Would you save changes in the file
c:\Users\MM\AppData\Local\Temp...\.htaccess
so I click on SAVE, and nothing happens, the following folder is empty:
C:\Users\MM\AppData\Local\Temp\_tc
I use 64-bit total commander.
In the logs I see:
Would you save changes in the file
c:\Users\MM\AppData\Local\Temp...\.htaccess
so I click on SAVE, and nothing happens, the following folder is empty:
C:\Users\MM\AppData\Local\Temp\_tc
I use 64-bit total commander.
In the logs I see:
Code: Select all
Copied (2013-10-25 12:17:26) ftp://ftp.....htaccess -> C:\Users\MM\AppData\Local\Temp\_tc\.htaccess 296 bytes
TC automatically (8.5 by choice) saves the edited file on the server and deletes the temporary file on the local drive.

Is it only .htaccess that this applies to, or can you edit other files whithout a leading dot without running TC as Admin?

Try this: Install the latest TC 8.5 beta, then go to menu
Configuration - Options - Viewer/Editor and check the option "Automatically re-upload...".
