Can not type main password in FTP connection window

Hi!
I've searched for this problem unsuccessfully: I can not type main password in password field, where FTP connections are secured by this password.

Keyboard works perfectly, neither any unusual program is running in background which can hook keyboard or any other window on top - I just can type everything everywhere except this particular pass field.
Maybe it is due to earlier upgrade from Win8 to Win 8.1 - everything seems work fine before this upgrade
I've got some workaround: I just type pass into notepad and copy -> paste action in pass field, but it is very inconvenient and rather not secure to show my password.
Can anybody tell me what cause this problem? Thanks

It might be the same issue as this: http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=38322. If so, upgrading to TC8.5 (still in beta!) should help.

Thanks Umbra, didn't notice that, TC 8.5b7 resolved this incovinience.
Anyway: this is problem with TC 8.01 too (and Win 8.1 of course), not only TC 8.5 <5 beta

This problem was discovered after releasing 8.01 so it doesn't work in it. However there is a workaround for 8.01 described here.
