Arranging Directories By Size

Post by *GraemeC »

You can click the Size Column to arrange files in order of size. Is there any way to arrange the directories that same way? You can see the size of a directory by highlighting it and hitting the space bar, but I'd like to then order them that way.

Yes for sure: Configuration - Options - Display - Sorting Directories: Like files (also by time)

That works well, thanks.

Now, once you've done it, is there any easy way to dump the results off to a text file? I'm trying to track the size of certain directories over time to see which ones are growing.

Just create a button or assign a keyboard shortcut with "cm_CopyFileDetailsToClip".

Mark all files/folders of interest and press this key/button.
Finally paste it into an editor.
