Lister: ASCII/DOS encoding instead of DOS charset

I often switch between ANSI and DOS charsets using A/S keys. But if I can chose any font for the first one, it is a problem to chose font for second one. There is an option to chose ASCII/DOS from Encodings menu and TC shows DOS this way perfectly but: it remembers this codepage selection and applies it to further text files, and also it is much faster to press S instead of using menu (which may require to change keyboard layout for quick access).


It would be great if S key simply switch to ASCII/DOS encoding by default instead of using default OEM font (maybe with additional wincmd.ini option if someone prefers default font).

Maybe use external Lister via Alt+F3 for OEM/DOS? e.g. with parameter
/S=L:S

Since MVV wants a solution for enabeling ASCII/DOS encoding it seems that he rather wants to run external Lister with this parameter:

/S=L:C1

If I already opened a file, it is not a good idea to close it and open again using specific hotkey. Also, it may be opened within a group of files.
I wish to be able to switch to ASCII/DOS encoding using regular lister with S key and back to ANSI with A key - it is quite quick and comfortable way to switch encoding. Currently if I change encoding with Encoding menu, I can't reset it back to default one with A or S keys...
