Please add: no questions asked copy

I needed to copy a large number of files to another drive. As this takes several hours, I left my computer running, expecting it to finish it while I am at work.

I come home and the copying is not done at all, it stopped at 5%, because of some stupid question.

I just do not care!!!!! Just copy, do not ask questions. Next time I will use explorer for this.

Please add an option: no questions asked copy. YES, OVERWRITE EVERYTHING (EVEN IF TARGET IS READ ONLY), I DO NOT CARE ABOUT FILENAME LENGTH OR ANY OTHER QUESTION, JUST COPY!!!

Did you try TC 8.5 featuring the new "copy first - ask later*" behavior?

* Ask only when there is a conflict in the first five seconds.

Hi Guys, I have the latest version of TC. Where can i find this new feature that will just copy without asking me questions?

Actually I am syncronizing directories and I want it to just sync the directories and not ask me any questions about read only or file name length.

Not sure if that F5 copy option applies to directory sync or not.

I don't think it works for Sync. This is what history text says about it:

10.03.13 Added: F5 copy: First copy all files where the user doesn't need to be asked and skip all with errors, ask at the end (32/64)

01.09.13 Added: F5 copy, questions asked at end: If there is a dialog within the first 5 seconds, show it instead of postponing it (the user should still be there) - was 0.5 seconds in beta 1 (32/64)

So it is permanently enabled for copying with F5 - I cnnot find anything for Sync..

Oh ok, yeah thats all I could find was those features with copying data. I have 1.5TB of data that I'm syncing until we cutover to the new server and I get prompted multiple times during the sync process.

Maybe it will be added on as a new feature, it would definitly be handy!

It's not available in sync because TC copies first in one direction, and then in the other direction. Errors during the first part would have to be handled between the two, so there wouldn't be a big gain...

Will it work same for MOVE (F6), if not how to avoid nagging questions with F6? thanks
