Disable Media Servers in Network tab

Post by *BullFrog »

How can I disable showing DLNA servers (Media servers) in TC?

I can't do anything with them in TC so they are pretty useless to show them.

And what are these things highlighted with red on the below picture? I can't open them, they are just there, how can I remove them?

The openable WDMYCLOUD (like the one highlighted with blue) is missing, but I can reach it with cd \\WDMYCLOUD

There were changes in Windows since Vista that have mixed Network Neighborhood: before Vista there were searate group and since Vista all items are displayed together (with file system plugins in case of TC).

You can try to set NethoodStyle=2 in [Configuration] section of wincmd.ini to move them to subdirectory. See section 4.b of TOTALCMD.chm for details.

Yup, that hid them all completely! Not visible anywhere in "Network".

Actually there is a folder in Network where you still can locate them, but not in the upper level Network place. :)
