Savetabs or rather "projects"

Post by *joshx »

hi,

I love TC!!! But there's one thing that I'm looking for and I have not found so far. That is, the ability to save multiple tabs with one command. I have seen that there's the command OPENTABS, but there's not something like SAVETABS. Are there other solutions?

I often work on many projects with multiple tabs and it would be interesting to be able to save the current "project" with a button and to open it later.

thanks
Josh

ps: sorry for my english ;-)

I know that and it's what I do now, but it is not, say, fast.

Thanks anyway.

Do you save your "projects" so frequently? I think you load them much more often...

However I agree that it is strange why commands from tab context menu aren't available as user-commands.

yeaah :-)

I usually use two buttons that open the files 1.TAB and 2.TAB, the problem, as I said, is that every time I have to save I have to go to the tabs menu.

You can speed this up a bit by assigning a hotkey to cm_DirTabsShowMenu command (via Misc. config page) and adding shortcut to save command (by editing LNG or creating new one with only this line if you use internal one) from tab context menu so you will only need to press hotkey and then shortcut key to open save dialog.

That's a good idea! Thanks :-)

Is there any chance that the TC's author implements the command SAVETABS so you can use it in the buttons?

There are some posts/topics may be found by savetabs keyword, old one for example...
