Copy directory structure, skip files

Post by *bobbozzo »

Hi,

It'd be nice if the copy dialog had a 'only copy directories, not files' option...

Currently I use XCOPY:
/T Creates directory structure, but does not copy files. Does not include empty directories or subdirectories. /T /E includes empty directories and subdirectories.

Thanks!

BTW, it would probably be best if that option doesn't get remembered/saved as it could lead to frustration if it got 'stuck' in that mode.

Or:

(Optionally) add "cm_SelectAllFolders" to menu or buttonbar and use this entry/button for select all directories.

(or select all folders manually).

Press F5 and type "." (=period) in "Only files of this type" field/combobox - directory structure will be copied
(there's no need to define "Directory" as a type).

Usually I press F5 and type some blah-blah-blah into Only files of this type field, and TC copies no files but creates dirs. :D
