MediaAudio2 plugin read file system differently with android

Post by *dracodoc »

I used total commander android to rename a directory in phone internal storage, and verified with es file explorer. Then I connect the phone with pc by usb cable and use mediaAudio2 plugin to copy files. However the plugin found the directory with the old name. I tried refresh several times but it still only read old directories.

This happens because MTP (media transfer protocol) does not see the file system on Android, it sees the so-called media file database. It needs to be updated after making changes on the device itself. Most file managers will tell the system to refresh the database after making changes.

Reboot your device. Or use ADB, it is much faster (up to 10x) and more reliable with small files, MTP often hangs up.
