Show server name in tabs for UNC paths

Post by *ZoSTeR »

Instead of a backslash make it optional to show the server name in the tab title.

"\:Public" becomes "Server01:Public"

You mean FTP connections? Usual UNC paths contain server name: \\hostname\path.

No I mean the tab title for network UNC paths.
I often browse multiple servers with the same folder structure and it's hard to tell at glance which server is on which tab.

You have same problems within same volume: if you have e.g. two folders DATA, both will have tab caption DATA...

There is an option to show drive letters in tabs, but it works wrong with servers...

Code: Select all

DirTabOptions=1848
