Multi-User License and wincmd.key file how-to?

Post by *MrZaius »

I bought a multi-user license since we are 2 people gonna use the program at home, me and my wife.

I could have bougt a Single User License and no one would ever know it wasnt my computer the one of the.

But we are so happy with the program and wanted to support it, so bought the multi-user.

Now my question is, how do i register the second license to my wife ?

I only got 1 wincmd.key file, so if i put it on my wifes computer it will say its registered to me, even though i never gonna use it.

Best Regards

I think you will only have one multi user license on your name or two single user licenses on your and your wives name.

At work i use a 16 user license which is issued on the name of the company, so not on 16 individual names.

I would say that you should use your 2 user license on both computers (the same wincmd.key)...

Yes, just put the wincmd.key on both computers! If anyone asks, you can see the number of licenses in menu Help - About Total Commander.
