How to keep marked files after copy ?

Post by *eitang »

Hi all,

I often copy a selection of files to several destinations, each within a TAB in the target window.

After each F6 the selection is un-marked. I know that / restores it, but just fo my curiosity, is there a way to keep the files marked ?

(Of course my CopyToTabs dos that, but sometimes I have a one off such copy.)

TIA,

You cannot keep them marked, but restore the last selection with the "/" key on the numeric keypad. On a laptop, you need to define a hotkey for cm_restoreselection .

Thank you Christian,

As I said in my original post, "I know that / restores it". But At least I don't feel stupid ...

For the laptopp, I've added a button to restore selection on my button bar...

BTW, Usually laptops have a Fn key that has a key that yield together the Numeric Pad's "/". Works 80% of the time...

Thanks for replying!
