portable font

i'm trying to make my tc as portable as possible, which pretty much works very well aside from the font. i'm using a non-standard monospace font for the file list which is not installed on most pcs.

is there any chance i can choose a font which is not installed on the system i'm running the tc from?

How about run portable tc from a script that registers an specific font before run tc and "un"-registers the font after tc is close
