List to print to document

Post by *Peter Kerekes »

Using XP I could print to text, save, then place in a document (rtf).
With Windows 7 this doesn't appear to work any longer.
Is there another way to copy file-names (within a directory) to a document (doc or rtf format) to be able to edit it.
Please advise. Thanks

Sorry, but why not just use simple Mark->Copy Selected Names To Clipboard? Or some other similar command? Then you can paste those filenames to any editor you want.

Thank you for the advise. I overlooked that possibility. Maybe it is relatively new and I don't change my habits.
Thanks again. That solved my problem even simpler than the old way.

I have been looking for a way to copy a directory list to file for years. And it was there all along. I just did not see it.

Thank you umbra!!!
