turn off internal associations and icons?

i've migrated from TC 7 to 8.5 and it have caused some inconveniences

now when i press enter and for example txt files are opened with internally used notepad++. but i want it t be opened with application associated in system
how to turn off internal associations?

same about icons: how to make TC use system icons? e.g. now for archives it uses its own icon, but i want it to be icon of winrar

how to turn off internal associations?
They are configured via menu Files - Internal associations. If there aren't any, then TC uses the system associations.

TC already uses system icons the same way as TC 7. Archives and folders are internal icons just like in TC 7.

omg, sure. sorry. for some reason i was thinking it was system icons for archives o_O
