Hello,
I have a big list of image files in two directories. The filenames are "almost" the same. In both folders I have images named *987545.jpg. Of course * represents totally random name.
In short, only the number is always the same.
I wonder if it is possible to sync these files somehow. If I choose L->R then the name from L gets renamed to R and the file is replaced. If I choose R -> L, then it's right the oposite.
Thanks ...
Sync files with almost the same names

Hello, krojc.
I am afraid in this case you are out of luck with the "Synchronize Directories" function. No fuzzy logic built-in. Filenames are either identical or different, similar is not identical, hence different.
And actually I have got no idea whether there is any good software around which can match filenames that are only similar.
Kind regards,
Karl
