Under Secure FTP Connections, it shows the sftp connection I defined.
All the parameters are identical to the Winscp version.
Enable logging with SSH Packets and paste the log/attach the log file, but keep the password fields disabled. For your own research you might enable logging of passwords to track down the reason yourself.

I've also copied the above DLLs, to c:\totalcmd, c:\totalcmd\plugins\wfx, c:\totalcmd\plugins\wfx\sftp4tc, just to make sure all the bases are covered.
There is no need to copy files yourself to many locations. Simply open the archive from total commander and installation is triggered.
