How to filter the list as i type ?

Post by *bagou01 »

Hi,
i formatted my computer and obviously reinstalled TC.
however i lost one of my favourite features : just typing letters and it filters by removing all that's not coherent to what i type...
i don't remember how i activated that as it is years ago. Could you refresh my memory please?

Hello bagou01,
Ctrl-S.

Roman
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Code: Select all

wincmd.ini
[Configuration]
QuickSearchAutoFilter=1
QuickSearchMatchBeginning=0
QuickSearchExactMatch=0
AltSearch=3

It is much easier to remember Configuration - Quick Search dialog.

but none has the effect i got before, which is to makes, as i type each letter, everything disappears except for the files containing the letters i typed.

Filtering (hiding non-related items) is an option that may be switched in quick search window which may be opened by Ctrl+S (a little button in that window or another Ctrl+S press). However it seems to be inavailable for searching w/o quick search window.
