I have several FTP servers where the firewall admins has turned on DPI for FTP traffic.
When Total Commander sends the command :
CLNT Total Commander (UTF-8)
The connection gets dropped.
If I try to FTP with windows cmd line FTP everything works just fine, so I assume it's the firewall dropping connections using non standard commands (ie CLNT)
Is there any way to make Total Commander drop the usage of the advanced commands?

Unfortunately sending the CLNT command cannot currently be disabled. It will not be sent if the FEAT command doesn't return an error, and doesn't list the CLNT command.
Btw, the CLNT command is not proprietary, it is defined in RFC 3659. Some FTP servers require it to handle UTF8 correctly.
