Hi,
When i set a speed limit on copies over the network it doesn't seem to have an impact on the actual speed... Tried both 32 & 64 bit versions.
Please advice...
Thx,
Filip

The speed limit only has an effect on sufficiently large files because normal copy operations are very fast. It has an effect on smaller files only if the speed is very low (e.g. via Internet).

Maybe I should have been more clear
It occurs when copying large files (multiple GB) over WAN connections (4-10 Mbit/s). These copies sometimes take up to several hours but since no QoS is implemented they tend to saturate the line, so speed limit would be ideal (and has worked in the past as I've been using TC for a very long time already).

Hmm, that works just fine here. What speed limit did you set? Please note that the limit is set in bytes, not bit. So for 1 MBit/s, you need to specify about 125kBytes/s.
