Keep column header alignment in perpetuity

The column headings (size, date, attr. etc) can be adjusted horizontally to space the column data for easier reading. After I do this, and exit TC, the column spacing reverts back to the original spacing when TC reopens. How can I make the column spacing remain fixed until I drag them differently?

Assign cm_ConfigSavePos to a menu entry or button bar.
