How to view many pics at low res

What should I do to have the option to see at the other panel around 15 pics at low resolution?

You can show the thumbnails view by pressing ctrl+shift+f1 or in the main menu: Show > Thumbnail View

You also may need to enable some methods of extracting thumbnains in Configuration - Thumbnails dialog, and optionally install some lister plugins like Imagine to support more image formats.
