Lock Tabs Color
Is it possible to assign colors to lock tabs? If so, how? If not, like to suggest this feature on future updates.
Thanks,
AC

Thanks for the reply...ts4242 wrote:It is not possible. But there is a tool named TWinKey which can coloring tabs,
I checked it out, it seems complicated. Was hoping this was available in TC. Anyway, color or not, I really like the Tabs.

Its just a few clicks in its configuration program
to enable the feature and select the color.
It wouldn't be easier as a TC internal option.

I got the plug in WDX plugin installed and read some of the instructions on TAB COLOR. I CTRL+Right Clicked on a tab, a choice of colors showed up, picked one, and it colored the tab, I went on to another tab repeated with a different color. Closed TC, Re-Opened TC, no tab colors, and when I CTRL+Righclick on a tab, the normal TC drop screen showed up.
I also assigned it hot key, went to TwinkUtil.exe and set it up to save colors. Nothing worked. Once I exit TC and Re-Open it. The color Tab feature doesn't work.
I removed the WDX plugin, deleted all related files. Closed TC to make sure all is clear, Re-Opened TC and Reinstalled the WDX, I can get the Tab Color feature to work. But only once, after TC closes and is reopened the tab color feature doesn't work anymore.

I've just tested - everything works for me: tab color is retained after restarting the TC. SelectTabColr hotkey works fine either. Wait while VadMGP answers.

Tab colors are saved and restored on TC restart without problems.AnthonyCian wrote:To Horst.Epp

Windows 8.1 x64 and TC 8.51a x64
I had this exact scenario with Windows 8.1 x64 and TC 8,51a x32. I downloaded the most recent version of Twinkey (3.119) and that solved the problem. If you use the link above it will download version 3.44, which is not as new as 3.119 - counter intuitive, but true according to the Twinkey history file in the 3.119 download. It can be downloaded at mgpsoft website.
