Have TC setup wiht 2 windows, setup in Tree View.
The Tree View pane has a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom to allow me to see the entire entry even if too wide for the pane. The Files pane does NOT have the scroll bar at the bottom and with long file names I cannot see file extenisons, nor the tabs showing file size, date modified/etc. Maybe I am blind, but I cannot find a way to add a scroll bar at the bottom of the files pane
Would like to either know how to setup a scroll bar at the bottom of the files pane OR if that is not currently possible, then would like request that it be added in the new v9. This is the default in PowerDesk and frankly, it is a much more user friendly approach than what TC is showing
Thanks a million in advance -

You can use custom columns view to be able to enable a horizontal scroll bar (see Options or right-click on the column headers).
I agree that it would be better to have an option for the default views as well.

I rteally don't see any option to setup a horiztal scroll bar in the Columns, custom view, options window
How about some more DETAIL on how to accomplish this?? Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I am totally new to Total Commander and feel like I am at sea and sinking in a whirlpool of menus/options/etc

Create a new Custom Columns View: Right-click on the column headers > Configure custom columns > New. Add the columns you want to see in there. Now you can check the Horizontal scrollbar option at the bottom of this very dialog.
