Current Directory Bar - Disable Touch UI?
Hi folks, is here any way, how could I disable changing the height of current directory bar in TC, based on enabled/disabled touch support on current PC?
This is how it appears:
Image: http://martinzubek.cz/tmp/tc_bar.png
(upper image is with disabled touch support on PC, bottom image is with enabled touch support) as you cas see, the bar height differs
I would like to disable this change of height. Is it possible? Is this behaviour even intentional (as far as this is the only change in UI I have noticed upon switching touch support in OS)?
I am on Windows 8.1 Pro, TC 8.51a.
Thanks

Sorry, you cannot make it smaller when a touch device is detected. This is done to make TC at least a bit more usable on touch devices.

Hi there, is here something new to this topic?
It would be really neat if we could completely disable touch-ui changes in TC. Over time I have encountered many more devices on which two-finger touchpad scrolling made Windows think that it has touch screen (despite it has not).
All I beg is tiny little config option in wincmd.ini. Please, please, please...

You mean just the height of the file panel title bar?

Hi, thank you very much for reply.
I mean setting that would disable all visual changes of TC related to enabled touch support on particular device. The height of breadcrumbs bar is the only difference I have noticed so far.
In other words I would like to have setting that would tell TC that my PC has no touch support regardless of what system says, and therefore TC would not resize visual elements (breadcrumbs bar).
