Splash Screen Tweak

Post by *Snook »

Is there anyway to disable the splash screen when TC starts? Yes, I am running a registered copy. While it's only visible for a fraction of a second it would be nice to totally disable it.

Yes, there is. Just add the following line in you wincmd.ini file located usually in your Windows directory:

StartupScreen=0

Make sure it's under the [Configuration] section with is the first one visible.

Hi,

Previously I was on Vista.

I now have a new laptop with Windows 7 and installed TC. I did a search but could not find the wincmd.ini file ?
