hy guys
I use Totalcomander for android 2.62 on a SSG GN2 N7100 on android kitkat 4.4.4 (root + SuperSU).
TC has the SuperUser right. I face an issue with the "LAN Plugin for Total Commander" : since few weeks I could not "move" files or folders from my Laptop on Windows to my int SDCard. It worked on Cyanogenmod11 with TC (few weeks ago). Now, on rom stock kitkat 4.4.4 (root) I must move first : from Laptop on Windows (LAN) on the internal phone storage, then from the internal phone storage to the SDCard. When I try a direct move I obtain this error: "Write Error, Error writing to target file ! /storage/extSdCard/xxxx.txt" (xxxx.txt is an example of file I move)
Does somebody could help me to manage to move directly files from Windows10 LAN to internal SDCards PLEASE ?
ALso, I am not sure about my LAN config on TC:
- New server: any name
- server name/directory : 192.168.1.x, the IP address of my laptop windows10
- user name and password : of my windows session
(no Protect with master pass, no Older NAS compatibility (LMv1), no Use old name lookup method)
thx, Bye

I use the name of the computer - that is the part between the \\ and the first \ in the path.server name/directory : 192.168.1.x, the IP address of my laptop windows10

After many test I guessed it s because the plugin has not a root access. But I cannot give it to it, it is not an app as usual. (With ESExplorer : moving from LAN to SdCard works well)
from TC dev Team :
Indeed Total Commander cannot use root functions to copy directly from a plugin to the external SD card on Kitkat.
Since you have root, please get the free tool SDFix from the play store, then you will be able to the card without restrictions:

IT WORKS !
