Log feature for "manual renaming"?

Post by *josef.svoboda »

It happened to me several times that I wanted do create a new directory but by mistake (slip of fingers, F7 to F6) I renamed an existing one instead.
This mistake is usually spotted immediately after it is made.
But if the original directory name was long and complex it could be difficult to revert it.

Possible solution

Create a special log that contains the date, time, original name and new name when user manually renames directory (or file).
Bonus: Give the user an option to easily revert the change.

Good news: It is already implemented :)

You just have to enable it.
(Configuration - Options - Log file)
- Enable "Create a log file"
- Choose all actions to be logged

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
