Ordering files with wrong alphabet

Post by *dunican »

Hi,

I have my TC language set to English, I also use the English OS, but for some reason the files and folders are ordered according to the Czech alphabet (that's where I currently reside). Can I change this?

TC 8.52, Win 7 64-bit

Thanks,
Adam

TC sorts according to the system settings. BTW: TC sorts the same way like Explorer when you choose one of the "Natural sorting" settings in Options > Display > Sort method..

Hi Dalai,

thanks for the response. I don't know how "Natural sorting: alphabetical and numbers" is different from "Natural sorting: by character code and numbers" but the latter works fine. Thanks! As I said, my system is in English.

The second sorts by the numeric character code, for example A = 65, B = 66. The first sorts by regional settings defined in control panel (which is probably set to Czech).
