Overview of used / unused shortcuts

Post by *Jello »

Problem (under Menue Configuration -> Misc -> Redefine hotkeys):
If I want to add a shortcut to a new order, I don't know, which shortcuts are unused.
So it's luck, if I choose an unused shortcut - always/mostly it's used...

Suggestion 1:
if I try to select different shortcuts, the shown text under "Commend" should change and show "Default command" or "Unused" - not always "Default...".

Suggestion 2 (if Suggestion 1 is impossible):
it woul be very usefull, to see all used and/or unused shotcuts in a list incl. the shortcuts. Sortable would be nice.

Suggestion 3:
add a button to the txt-file with shortcuts (in german Tasten.txt).

TWinKey can list all hotkeys. "Native", user-defined and TWinKey-specific ones are marked with different colors. "Unused" hotkeys are not listed, of course. Special command to find duplicated hotkeys is available

Jello,
There is a drop-down menu button with small triangle that lists all assigned shortcuts. Standard shortcuts are in KEYBOARD.txt file.
You can also try Ultra TC Editors.

Thank you both!

TWinKey is only for 32bit-version of TC.
There is a drop-down menu button with small triangle that lists all assigned shortcuts.
Yes, but only the assigned - and doesn't help to the problem.
Standard shortcuts are in KEYBOARD.txt file.
Yes, that's the same as i wrote under Suggestion 3.

The "Hotkeys Editor.exe" incl. in the "Ultra TC Editors" is nice - good to see, that so many Shortcuts are unused...

---

Generally, I tried to post a suggestion to make TC better by itself - without thirdparty-programs/-plugins.
