Show directory with Attributes System an No Hidden

Post by *trobert13 »

We have Synology NAS sistem on Local Network.
If we want to change Folder Icon, there are two prerequisites for this to work:
1. There must be desktop.ini file in the directory specifying the icon to use.
2. The Attribute "s" must be set on the folder.

In my Windows Explorer the icon show now. And we can see directory even Folder Options - View - is set to "Don't show hidden files, folders, or drives".
Also icon show now in Total Commander, but we can NOT see the directory with Total Commander if File display is not set so "Show hidden/system files (for experts only!)".

My Question:
Is it possible in Total Commander to see Directory (not files) with Attribute "s" and without any other attribute, like in Windows Explorer?

Thanks, Robert

Hello trobert13,
You can update TC and show system files only (and keep hidden files hidden).

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Work. Thank you very much. Sometimes it is really necessary to go with the times.
