Uppercase chars ignored on folders, why? ABC123 Abc123

Post by *sorente »

Hi,
This is a very old bug, dating at least from 6.4x versions, if a folder contains uppercase characters, for example "ABC123" only the first is shown as uppercase, the rest are lower as in "Abc123". Same problem occurs when creating folders.

Thank you

I would say it is a very old feature (that was made in DOS times to make short uppercase names in TC look like in Windows 9x Explorer)! :D
And there is a setting for it: Configuration, Display, Show old 8.3 filenames lowercase. 8)
And it is disabled by default for years. :)

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Ok, thank you, I though that setting referring to lowercase would not apply to this problem.
