list/printdir: How to 'print' the DIR contents to a file?

Post by *novw »

I have no clue what I did wrong, this used to work. I have an extension / addon / packer installed (I have NO clue what it is...) that if I select a bunch of files pops up a requester

where I can select files etc. Like I said, it USED to work flawlesly. As of two days ago, it poops out
File name Size Date Time Attr
------------------------------------------ --------------- ---------- -------- ----

total files 0 total size 0
on anything I try. So, I installed another "something" diskdir plugin Copyright 1999-2012 by Chriatian Ghisler". It poops out files that look like this
C:\totalcmd\plugins\wdx\wdx_exif\
exif.lng 13511 2011.9.20 16:21.40
exif.wdx 86016 2011.9.5 9:48.26
exif.wdx64 133632 2011.9.7 9:51.4
ReadMe.txt 1996 2011.9.7 9:57.16
Now to manually remove the filesize, date and time for 4 files is no problem, yet if I am looking at hundreds of files, this means a big nono.

---
So: first question: how do I UNINSTALL a plugin that is not even installed in totalcmd\plugins\wcx\ and/or totalcmd\plugins\wdx\ ? And secondly, how can I "print" the contents of a directory to a file??!!

You currently use diskdir plugin which creates a filelist with extension .lst
This is browsable like a normal directory with TC

For other purposes you may use the more flexible CatalogMaker plugin
(Create catalogs (lists) of the selected files/directories, with user-defined list format)

Or

DiskDir Extended plugin and use "Configure" button and select columns to print
